Aaron Lewis Plans for 4th Annual It Takes A
Community Foundation Benefit Concert
The R.H. Conwell experience demonstrated that rural communities can help themselves if residents work together and have adequate resources. Under the leadership of Aaron and Vanessa Lewis, ITAC now provides funding and guidance to a wide array of organizations that play a vital role in connecting people within rural communities.
The charity works with local leaders and community organizations that have firsthand knowledge of the needs of their communities. It strives to raise funds and support these community groups who strengthen, engage and enrich the communities they are in, sustain diminishing public services and provide assistance to communities in crisis.
Tickets are general admission, with prices range from $59-79 plus Ticketmaster service charges. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
About Aaron Lewis:
Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Aaron Lewis is known for his powerful lyrics, along with his honest, story-telling approach to songs. In 2011, Lewis made his cross-over country debut with the release of his EP, ‘Town Line.’ The seven-song EP, which featured collaborations with country legends George Jones and Charlie Daniels, reached #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release.
Lewis followed his whirlwind success with his first full solo studio album ‘The Road.’ The album’s nod to traditional country is the mark of Lewis’ full circle journey back to his roots. The tracks on ‘The Road’ tell one story after another, giving the listener a window into Lewis’ life with some tales that are hilarious and heartwarming, and others that are pensive and personal. Once again, Lewis teamed up with heavy hitters in the studio. The star-studded musical cast includes Craig Frost [Bob Seger], Keith Horne [Waylon Jennings] and iconic steel player Paul Franklin. The debut single, “Endless Summer,” was a success with both critics and the country music charts.
