Brenda Brown Entertainment is always striving to be the premier digital content provider exclusively to iTunes®. We hold exclusive licenses with Apple to upload into iTunes® virtually all mediums including; music, comedy, eBooks®, spoken word, videos and movies.
Our internal goal is ALWAYS TO PROVIDE WORLD CLASS PROMPT AND EXCLUSIVE SERVICES, ACCOUNTING AND PROMOTIONAL ASSISTANCE TO OUR ARTISTS, MANAGEMENT COMPANIES AND LABELS.
Here is what separates us from all the rest….
Customer Service: From the moment we receive all required specifications, as detailed on our website, we immediately begin the process of uploading into iTunes®. Depending on our work load at the time of receipt of all specified items, we finish our internal uploading processes in 3-5 days. Normally, after that the content usually is approved and uploaded by iTunes® in 1-2 weeks. (We also offer “priority” services for additional charges which means the uploading on our end begins immediately, usually same day service). (***** Note: Classical Music takes at least 1-2 weeks longer).
World Wide Distribution: ALL of our Content is uploaded into every iTunes® “Store” and distributed WORLD WIDE. We do NOT charge per store or country, which most others have separate charges for.
Royalty Payments: Our contracts CLEARLY details the royalty payments that we pay to the Artist/Content owner. There are NO hidden fees embedded in our contracts that get deducted at any time. Additionally, we provide the vehicle for Artists/Content owners to receive some of the best royalties in the industry.
Liner Notes: Part of our music content uploading fees includes Liner Notes. Most other services out there do NOT offer this at all. (See specifications on our website).
Personalized Written Press Releases: We work and confer directly with the Artist or Content Owner in writing a professionally worded, promotional piece which is sent out to over 250,000 subscribers, WORLDWIDE. We know how to write a good press release, how to really “sugar coat” and build up an Artist’s talent and accomplishments and what really creates a splash. Subscribers that get the press release include all the big search engines such as Yahoo, Google, almost all Media outlets and many many other services. Once approved, it takes just 24 hours for the press release to reach the world. Once received all major search engines usually have the release for the Artist on the first page of their engine. The press release is a collaborative process between us and the Artist/Content Owner so as to make sure it is approved before release. (Details on our website).
HTML Direct “iTunes® Button” for use everywhere. For each artist, we will provide a unique “iTunes® Button” to the content owner. This is a direct HTML code link that when clicked on bypasses any search on iTunes® by the end user and goes directly to the Artist’s page. It can be placed on all social media networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. It also can be placed directly on any website next to or part of an Artist’s name, picutre or album/book cover. It can be displayed on it’s own as a grey iTunes® “button” or easily converted to a hyperlink and attached behind any picture of your choosing. For example for display of an album cover on Facebook, the button can be used as a hyperlink code directly to the Artist’s iTunes® page.
No “Hidden Fees”: We have established an “A La Carte” pricing matrix for each and every service we offer. We only charge for those services that are required. There are NO HIDDEN fees that we assess after we initially get a contract, which pratically all other aggregates assess. Charges are easily understood, royalty payments are also easily understood.
Accounting, Reports, Payments: Part of our uploading fees include furnishing to the Artist or Content Owner monthly accounting statements that detail each and every track/album uploaded thru iTunes®. This is broken down and detailed for each and every Country that the Artist’s content is sold in. Additionally, upon email written request, we will furnish, usually in a 24 hour period weekly peeks at how an artist is doing. This is particulary important when an Artist is involved in any current promotional event, concert, media appearance, promotional tours, press releases, etc. (Please note: Although we can provide weekly current reports, payments of royalties by iTunes® are six weeks behind. In other words, on or around the 20th of each month, we get paid the royalties earned for the previous month. Distribution of these royalties, per our contracts, occurs by the 15th following payment to Brenda Brown Entertainment).
